Little did I know my coworkers planned a pre-birthday birthday celebration!
The morning began as all days at work do; slow commute, listening to K-LOVE, parking, walking inside, and counting money. My stealthy coworkers channeled their inner James Bond to successfully hide their goodies from me!
There are two things I’ve wanted for a several months, but never had the money to purchase: one, a beautiful, sparkling broach from Charming Charlie; and two, a print from Target of people walking by the Eiffel Tower.
I have not had the desire to spend massive amounts of money and so I discarded these items from my thoughts, leaving them hungrily awaiting my return. Little did I know how attentive my coworkers were to my Facebook, where I occasionally post images of things I want.
On this very morning I was surprised with both beautiful gifts!
From Rita came the broach, and the rest of my coworkers pitched in on the portrait and the most delicious array of cupcakes!
It was such surprise and I felt so loved to have been given such thoughtful gifts. Thank you all so much!
Oh I MISS them!! Yummy cupcakes!! How great to have such a close bond with your coworkers!! Don't take it for granted!! :)
