I had so much fun today downtown with Bekah, Mario, and his parents.  They treated us to breakfast at their hotel, and from there we made our way to Mud Island.  We went on a tour of the river, walked through it—which is the coolest thing to me and five year old kids—and then finished up the evening riding the trolleys and eating at Memphis’ famous Rendezvous.  It was my first time to eat there, and it was amazing.  It was a beautiful day, and I wish I could repeat it, because I had wonderful company, a wonderful experience downtown, and a delicious dinner.  Thank you to Mario and Bekah for including me in their family day!
